Looking for art print I saw on Kentucky Derby website?

It had a foal curled up in front of a barn and race horses in the background like it was dreaming of the future. It reminded me of the Ducks Unlimited series of the puppies dreaming of future hunting. Does anyone know what I’m talking about and where I can find one of these to buy? The artists name or name of the print would be great!

I think I can help. The artist is Fred Stone and the print you have described is called ” A Century of Heroes”. You can try the web site www.fredstone.com or www.prints.com. Good luck!

Horse And Carriage Hire

Why not travel in style in a horse drawn carriage? This luxurious transport is perfect for a romantic trip, an alternative day out, to celebrate a special occasion or for a superb alternative for corporate events.

Horse drawn carriages, complete with suspension for passenger comfort, have been used as far back as Roman times. The carriages range from the functional day-to-day transport to the extravagantly gilded and decorated carriage of Queen Elizabeth II. For an idea of what type of carriage and livery you might want to hire one of the most complete collections is housed at The Royal Mews in London.

But this opulence is not reserved for the monarchy and there is a growing trend for hiring horse drawn carriages for special occasions. The most popular being weddings, with bride and groom being whisked away from the church in true style and comfort.

Horse drawn carriage hire is also a fantastic way to see the sites of a city. The slow pace of a horse drawn carriage allows the tourist to capture images that usually flash by in the bustle of motorized transport. For visitors to New York no tourist experience is complete without a trip on a horse drawn carriage around Central Park. For the more adventurous, hire a horse drawn carriage to visit the Valley of the Kings in Egypt complete with your own private guide.

Corporate events can also be given the finishing touch of a horse drawn carriage. A day at the races can become a day to remember with valued clients being collected from their hotels and driven to the race-course in a horse drawn carriage. A glass of champagne and a hamper of goodies can give your guests the ultimate traveling picnic experience.

A more somber use for horse drawn carriage hire can be seen in the resurgence of horse drawn hearses. This dignified final journey is crowned with a glass carriage usually pulled by dark Horses with magnificent black feathered plumes. The stately pace of the horses turned out in their finest coats and Bridles is a glorious tribute to a loved one.

There are also more nostalgic uses for horse drawn carriages. We all have the Dickens image of snow falling at Christmas as a horse drawn carriage drives through a market town carrying passengers laden with presents. Increasingly, horse drawn carriage hire is being used for Christmas trips. In some countries sleds with bells replace the wheels with passengers wrapped tightly in warm furs to keep them toasty on their journey.

There are endless uses for horse drawn carriage hire and this relaxing form of transport is the perfect way to make any occasion an event to remember.

Can anyone tell where I can find an image of a dark horse poster?

On the top of the poster was a quote by H.P. Lovecraft, “The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear”. Under the quote is dark horse comic characters like Hellboy. The poster I believe says something like playing on your nightmares. I would also like to know if any knows where I could purchase the actual poster as well.

try to this…

Horse Training

To access the fun part of owning a horse, you can do hiking or let your friends must first make the necessary training to do so tranquil and pleasant in any situation. It is always ideal to find an adult horse that is already "Safe Children", but if you can not find or afford a horse there are some things you can do to train your horse for trail or competition.

A "Spooky" horse is not funny at all to go that you are constantly afraid that he will jump at the slightest noise or movement and the result will end up with back on the ground looking up. A great partnership with your horse some of their confidence from the owner. Go time with your horse as you can and bases, in which trust is built. Foundation is the time and training to put his horse. This is the basis of training horse to work with a horse the ground before you even get in the chair. The daily grooming and working with your horse in ways different situations a bond of trust with your horse. You must be a "horse head." Confidence is very valuable because there are times when you need your horse to overcome his natural instincts to flee when threatened. If your horse trusts you to keep it safe, he will ignore their instincts and stay calm. Take your time when there toilets and take a firm but fair management when you learn to respect you as their leader of the herd.

A good way to help your horse reacts differently to situations is to take experienced "child safe" horse stays calm in all circumstances. When a horse sees and feels that another horse is not concerned or afraid every paper bag in the wind or the leaves blowing around in fear, then it helps you realize that the world is not as scary as he thought.

If your horse is afraid of certain things, so make sure to show him every day until you are completely comfortable with him. For example, you can attach plastic bags at the end and let them flap in the wind. Then continue to take his horse past the bags of every day as part of their training not to be afraid of things moving in the saddle. Fear is the main thing that drives a horse. The goal is to make at home with so many things as possible in each day basis. Your horse can not come, 90% all external influences that can come with time and more.

Need to find a home for my horse …?

A year ago, my family bought a gelding TB 13. 16 hands is a horse ideal for someone who has little experience with Horses very. So I decided to give up for adoption or sale. I love him to death, but I can not be more selfish and not give him what he most needs, space to run and play. I was wondering if anyone knew one of the shelters or farms in Connecticut that are prepared to take "or any other place I can send a notice to him. Thank you …

Why not sell? If you are unsure of what to do or how to go on sale, some barns call and ask if you can pay a coach (Horse or other qualified person) for their time to make an assessment for you. Try putting an ad in www.dreamhorse.com and in your local newspaper, too. It a lot of rescues there hiorse: http://www.horseofct.org/ here and a list was given a little more by the state: http://horseworlddata.com/rescue.html If a ransom is not ready to take his horse, then you can probably advise or What you can get the word you are looking for a house manager. Do not give your horse a horse or a horse rental sites camp … some of these places are great, but many are not (lots of Rescue Horses from places like these.) The best is to have horses in these situations, if possible. Good luck!
