Biblical Chronology – Egypt without Pharaoh for 300 years

I introduced my two previous articles, I changed dynasties 1-12 Egyptian chronology of 161 years earlier and I moved the Egyptian dynasties 13-20 of 124 years earlier. These changes are in the same direction along the time line (before) and just a difference of 37 years (161 years, compared to 124 years). This difference in the changes is relatively negligible and can be explained by uncertainty about the dates of the reigns of dynasties 13-17 (historians acknowledge that the dates of the dynasties of 1913 to 1917 is difficult because many rules in this period may coincide). Thus, essentially only a function of the dating of the chronology Classic dynasties of Egypt 1-20 in the sense that any timetable for these dynasties must go back in time on the order of 124-161 years.

Dynasties 21 to 26 are another matter. Since the later dynasties, have changed over time by 181 years and dynasties from 1913 to 1920 before at least 124 years must have a hole in the Egyptian calendar, somewhere in the reign of Ramses III reign of Shishak 305 years! This result is remarkable. Nobody in the university community has been suggested that the discontinuity of the Egyptian dynasties could occur. It has been assumed that Egypt has always been powerful enough to govern itself and its neighbors, but may well be that Egypt was to thank you other invaders from the end of the dynasty of the early 20th to 21st Dynasty 300 years.

What Happened in Egypt for 300 years?

The question of "what happened for 300 years" can not be adequately addressed until it deals with the position of Egypt as a nation after the reign of Ramses III. From the Israelites' exodus took place during his reign, and if you believe the story of the Bible (which of course does) in Egypt must have been devastated. The ten plagues that have occurred during this time, the Nile have been poisoned (blood in the Nile) has decimated the supply of food (lobsters) introduced pests and diseases at national and killed many Eqyptians (angel of death of the Passover). Now consider the impact on its economy from a workforce of more than 2,000,000 Israelite slaves to leave their country (see the book of Numbers of the population of Israel at the time). Presumably, the population of Egypt at this time should be much smaller than it is today the impact of Israel in the economy would be much higher.

The scriptures also indicate that the Israelites were able to "loot" the Egyptians, because the citizens of Egypt sympathized with his situation and gave them "farewell" gifts of gold and jewels. Now on top of all this, as I mentioned earlier, the Egyptian army was essentially destroyed when drowned in the sea Red. To recapitulate, then, Egypt has been decimated by the lack of water, disease, fever and a large portion of the population died, its economy is severely weakened by the greatly reduced workforce, not an army. How can this nation has survived in such circumstances? I do not think that Egypt has managed to survive.

I do not think that the enemies of Egypt is taking a holiday for everything that is happening. Libya and the Sea Peoples were the last foreign historians have evidence of the conduct of war with Egypt in Dynasty 20. Ramses III was able to reject both of these invaders. However, after the Exodus, I think there was another invader came to occupy an important place, the former Nation slave to Egypt, Israel. Think about what the Scriptures say about the southern border of Israel after invading New Canaan (Numbers 33:5): And in turn Azmon border flow of Egypt, and its limit is set at sea. " If you search the word "flow" in exhaustive Concordance With you will see that this word can mean "the valley", which is the interpretation in favor. I do not think this verse means that the border of Israel began in the Nile, I think it is stated in Joshua 3:47 p.m., where the "river of Egypt" seems to be near the city of Gaza in the context of this verse.

There is a wide gap between the Gaza Strip and the Nile, however, if you look at a topological map of the region realized the mountain mountainous geography of Israel transitions basically very flat valley of the Nile in the general area of the Gaza Strip. Historians Ramses VI brings his forces voluntarily Canaan during his reign. The fourth day: Why the Bible is historically accurate chronology of the Israelites have crossed the Jordan to begin conquest of Canaan very early in the reign of Ramses VII. Assuming that only a small error in the Egyptian chronology Classic, I do think that the Israelites of Canaan Ramses VI afraid to Egypt came shortly after Canaan. What is interesting about this is the Bible never mentions Israel skirmishes Egypt. Archaeologists have discovered that Ramesses VI withdrew its forces from the land of Canaan. In fact, Egypt is never mentioned in the Bible in the book of Exodus in the reign of Solomon. It is possible that Egypt has seen the size of the Israeli army and retirement, which explains why it has not been recorded in the Bible. withdrawal of Egypt is important because it often uses Canaan as a "buffer zone" to prevent other powerful nations like the Hittites, Babylonians and Assyrians invaded Egypt. Therefore, was not only militarily weak Egypt was caught between the three nations as formidable, Libya to the west, Ethiopia in the south (which includes day Sudan) and Israel to the east. I think for the next three hundred years, Egypt has been surrounded by little chance to recover its past glory.

The eastern Mediterranean Dark Ages

Egyptologists have insisted that the 30 dynasties Egypt succeed without solution of continuity in the chronology of these kings. Is there historical evidence supports the idea that Egypt was not a pharaoh from 1200 BC to 900 BC? Consider the fact that almost all countries of the Eastern Mediterranean through an age dark period without registration in its history during this period. Historians say that ancient Greece had a dark period of the 12th British Columbia 8th century between the civilizations of Greece Mycenaean and archaic. The Hittites seem to have a dark age between the 13th and 10th century a. C. Although Assyrians seem to have a dark age of a hundred years a. 1000-900 C. So if all these countries neighboring Egypt has experienced a period of darkness during this time, Why not Egypt?

Note also that the Greeks referred to a dark age in Egypt as well. Greek mythology refers a king of Egypt, Proteus, who became king of Egypt, after a period when Egypt was not a king for five generations (Reference: Link Greek mythology, the author Carlos Parada, http://homepage.mac.com/cparada/GML / Proteus3.html). If we assume a generation been a period of 60 years and five generations would be 300 years old and since then a possiblility. So who is the king Proteus of Egypt? According to mythology Proteus was the Greek king of Egypt during the Trojan War, when Paris, prince of Troy, landed on the coast of Egypt with his captive Helen. Apparently, Paris had abducted Helen, the queen of Sparta. This is the incident that triggered the war Troy. Herodotus also mentions Proteus The stories in his book regarding his role in the Trojan War. While Proteus is the king of Egypt during the Trojan War and because it is the king at the end of the period of 300 years of Egyptian history in silence, then the Trojan War must have been close to 900 BC under the Fourth Day: Why the Bible is accurate history timeline. Since they were the Mycenaean Greeks invaded Troy, it is likely there was a change gradual Mycenaean civilization in ancient Greek period of one hundred years (900-800 BC) This essentially means that there is a dark age in the former Greece has supported so strongly by Peter James in his book forever darkness.

Where is the insertion point for this period more than 300 years of silence in the classical Egyptian chronology? This period is somewhere between 20 and 21 dynasties of ancient Egypt, the first king, after this period of 300 years of silence must be in one of these dynasties. In addition, the first powerful king in Egypt in 300 years would probably make some announcement or an order to show that Egypt was once again in control of their own destiny.

I think the period up Ramses XI Ramses VI meet all prerequisites of the 300 missing years. Little information about Ramses VII, VIII or IX. According to Herodotus the next king to succeed Proteus was a king named Rhampsinutus (many historians believe that the Greek translation of a king named Ramesses). Thus, Ramses Was? I think it was Ramessses XI. Herodotus said that Rhampsinutus had a fortune in silver large "larger than any king of Egypt before him. The only two pharaohs of Egypt's history silver coffins have been found of the dynasty is Psusennes Shishak 21 and 23 I of the dynasty. This is important because I think it's proof XI Ramessess best suited as a king of the 21st dynasty dynasty instead of 20.

I suggest that Ramses XI, that Rhampsinitus, acquired his fortune in the metalworking, since history records that two large statues erected on the site Temple of Vulcan, the god of metalworking. Ancient Egypt was famous for its mines of gold not silver mines. Silver sold almost Canaan and Mesopotamia. A wealth of state money Ramses XI, has become rich in money by trading other products the nations of Canaan (probably Horses). Historians have also discovered that Ramses XI, said a time stamp called "the repetition of births. "Many of the reigns kings of Egypt after Ramesses XI have been described in terms of years "in the repetition birth" and not "the Year "Reigning king of contemporary. I think that Ramses XI was repeated using the concept of birth indicate "renaissance the Egyptian nation after 300 years of silence. The proof of this new stamp is time for an inscription on a wall in the temple of Karnak That said, "seven years repeated births … under Ramses XI. "

Herodotus also says King Rhampsinutus instituted a new annual observance that sounds strangely close repetition "of births." Herodotus describes how Rhampsinitus down alive into hell (the underworld) and dice with a Demeter and Hades god called safe return of a gold towel, their profits from their game of dice. This story was the basis of an annual celebration. Sounds like Rhampsinitus symbolically dies and comes alive each year through this event. Only a paragraph following Herodotus talks on this conclusion, speaks of the Egyptian religious doctrine follows.

The Egyptians believed that the human body was immortal, and when a person dies his soul went into an animal, and when the animal died his soul to be reborn in a long list of animals that includes animals earth, air and sea, until his soul has entered a human body. Believes this is a cycle that will last 3000 years. Another time, it seems suspiciously like the idea of "repetition of births." So I think the Rhampsinitus described by Herodotus, mythology Greek and must be Ramesses XI.

The revival of the U.S. Appomattox

The end of the civil war is considered the rebirth of America, values particular principles cultural and moral. After the last battle in St. Petersburg, the Confederates surrendered, and interestingly enough, it is considered by many historians that both sides were happy with the final as expected. Northerners, with Lt. Gen. Ulysses Grant as their leader, dealt with their past enemies with respect. Some historians claim that many soldiers and officers, even shook hands and exchanged hugs with strangers as symbols reconciliation. In addition, many soldiers and officers have met their friends and classmates in the past (much of the Military Academy at West Point) and he was happy and greeted as if they had multiple enemies for days or even hours makes. People on both sides say they have never felt the savage aggression and typical of conventional warfare. Instead, people were divided politically and socially, but culturally and spiritually. Therefore, it was a war of two different peoples, but rather one and the same people who had been artificially divided. And when the war was over, the city had joined, of course, without anger, fear or hostility. This friendly meeting of the northern states and south east considered revival of the United States to Appomattox.

Anne Wortham history essay "The Birth America at Appomattox "develops the idea of reconciliation and cultural renaissance of Americans at the end of the war. It argues that for many reasons, both parties should at the end of the war, and both parties are treated with respect after the final, regardless of who been rejected or who was the winner. And indeed, many factors described by historians to support the thesis Wortham. And while the South and the North had some disagreements on some aspects of state policy, freedom and slavery, however, the fighters behaved very noble and decent at the end of the war, showing that they are truly citizens of a nation.

The major players in the final battle are not only leaders in the army, but in the cultural and moral in the final phase of the war. Their decisions and behavior of the exemplary behavior of most soldiers and civilians. Robert Lee, commander of the Confederation and Ulysses S. Grant, commanding Union, have been very effective in their approach to other and hostile forces before. Grant, though often criticized for his years of presidency, exposure Most of the dignity of a human being, winning the war with honor and respect for the enemy. Lee, meanwhile, has conceded defeat with honor, as well, and showed the nation how the war is loss of efficiency. He said most of its nobility, honor, dignity and prudence in negotiations with Grant Appomattox. Commanders shook the hand sign of reconciliation, not only military but also cultural and moral. Therefore, when he saw his subordinates friendship between the highest number of childhood friends recognized the lines of the opposition, and I realized that the war was over, they agreed to a common good and natural.

Since two parts of their former enemies have been exhausted by days of siege, the desperate expressions companionship, friendship and national identity has taken place. In particular, forces federal funding is better to share food and money, even with the Confederate forces. In addition, approved by President Lincoln, Grant given to the Confederate soldiers to keep Horses and weapons. This gesture is also important for the revival of federal, because he wanted peace, order and socio-economic stability, and I realized that people needed horses to work on their farms in the South.

The reconciliation talks held in Virginia in the village Appomattox Court House, the home of a wholesale grocer Wilmer McLean. Interestingly, the first battle of the Civil War was near his home, where too, which means that the farm, literally was the place where the civil war began and where it ended. This legacy makes this property very important in American history, and Appomattox Court House National Historical Park is now here.

The commanders of both sides, as shown above, the figures were very important and influential during and after the war. The peaceful and honorable reconciliation after the end of the Confederation may partly explained by the character of the legendary Captain Robert Lee. This man joined the federal forces must not be looking ideals for the South and beliefs, but because his home state of Virginia was not part of the Union. He resigned from the army Federal to his colonel, and joined the Confederates. I say he has been forced by circumstances to step aside south instead of following the beliefs and ideals have joined forces with little enthusiasm. Historical records show that slaves belonging to Lee that was typical of southern country. However, there is significant evidence to believe that Lee was against slavery. He inherited most of the slaves of his father-in law, the release of a family of slaves and slaves to join the army in future manumission as a reward, – all these facts show Lee opposed slavery. This feature of the General Confederation explained that the assignment was so quiet and why Lee (and his subordinates to follow his example) felt an affinity toward the United States Army.

Ulysses S. Grant, on the other hand, deserves its place as one of the presidents of the U.S. dollar. Despite his achievements as president are not as sensitive, and its achievements as a soldier, strategist and tactical merit admiration. Grant was the only one who managed to surpass the legendary strategist Robert Lee. And up the bottom position to recruit volunteers for Lieutenant-General – A new rank for him expressly authorized by Congress – that have proven deserve respect and admiration. Not only the first general to participate in a financial war against Lee, which was unthinkable at the time, also organize your forces in a manner so interesting, unexpected, synchronized, and a beautiful view (sometimes against the basic strategic principles), that the enemy has been crushed with losses far heavier. This persistence and "bulldog style have brought glory and fame. But unless his military exploits, proved to be a man of honor, nobility and dignity. As mentioned previously, given that the forces keep their possessions, and he accepted former enemies with respect and even friendship. He showed how a real general should win. In addition, Congress authorized another new category for him after the war – army general – which means two rows military established new for him – something to remember and admire.

In the final example, the rebirth of America as a nation in the Appomattox is not possible unless two leading figures, namely, Robert Lee and Ulysses Grant. Both these famous men have shown that most of humanity, honor and dignity during and after the surrender of the Confederate army. Grant shook hands instead of taking prisoners, while Lee taught his disciples that defeat is for the better because it put an end to the bloodshed. Grant to keep weapons and horses, and troops food and federal money to share with former enemies, while the Confederates greeted friends and colleagues and acknowledged. In general, events Appomattox actually shown that people who are fighting on different sides, two Americans, who had the same national identity, cultural and moral standards, and the same movement for freedom and liberty. They were divided into two camps simply for economic, social and political, but the Americans stayed the whole time during and after the war. And even if I was really Many misunderstandings, arguments and lack of commitment, the Americans have shown that the Civil War can not be separated, and they have shown were violent fights without bloodshed, but for political reasons. They began a new era in America, the era of more recent meeting of national and cultural identity, the era that begins with the rebirth of America at Appomattox.
