I decided to surf the Internet to assist children in camps and the summer day in Toronto for available options. Believe me when I say that I was not prepared for what happened – although I am an expert!

First, More than a dozen decent sites giving information on summer camps for children in Toronto. But there are hundreds and hundreds of camps to choose from, and can be a daunting task.

Consider this. In my own research just a summer camp days in Toronto, I found the camps in the general category, Arts, Sports, Academic, Religion horse and affiliates. Also offers programs camping for campers and therapeutic special needs.

A further search of residential camps result in another hundred options for children that offers nature camps emotions, academics, adventure, hockey, the line-building and leadership training. The Now parents decide how this information explosion?

I recommend a simple, but systematic:

1. Start with a needs assessment of your child and family needs.

2. Create a short list of only 3 or 4 fields of child respondents these criteria.

3. Request brochures of each of the selected areas and talk to their staff. Visit the summer camp, if possible. If you see any reason the field is not your family, drop and add the reasons for your requirements in step 1.

4. If all the camps been removed, return to step 2 and select 3-4 new camps with the list of revised requirements. Other areas to meet all your needs, choose the one that "feels" better.

You can make your search easier to go to dedicated websites as "torontoparentsguide.com.

As you are probably starting to see the emphasis should be placed on his family wants, not what the fields are offered. All the best, and have a great camp for kids this summer!

Has anyone ever been in a field of Horses and how they like? I think going to a horse camp night (Orme Ranch Camp) and I wanted to know what to expect. Has anyone ever been to the Elm camp? It is located in Mayer, Arizona. In addition, if someone knows horse camps during Christmas Eve in Arizona could please post? :) Thanks!

I was on a farm field Forward! It was wonderful! As I went to every child should have his own baby animals to look after some guy! had Calves, piglets and chicks! was so great, every day were divided into groups and givin a task in the morning to attend to the adoption of animals (Irrigation, food ie, cleaning stalls, collecting eggs and cleaning chicken feathers), which took about 60 minutes depending on the day. would be the hottest part of the day and we did arts and crafts or be givin a lesson on anatomy or characteristics of attention or an animal in the barn. Every day we have a hot breakfast surprise when we woke up after dressed and ready, and lunch at noon. every day we also had one hour of downtime could sleep anywhere, read, listen to a CD or iPod, if we were Lond quite like leaving the other campers to rest if necessary. has often been in the nearest town to visit local stores and over experience in the saddle, so we can see how to build a working blacksmith, and why do certain things for certain horses' hooves. who went to a ranch a great time there were hundreds of thousands of cattle, we saw how the horses were trained to stand in line for strings, and I Having heard the cowboys. which then led to link EACHA of us, and we've learned to rope cattle dummy! and every single night for 2-3 hours before dark but when it started to cool, we have a lesson horse. All were assigned to horses halter geroomed and nailed. who were responsible to support each of our horses in the observation of all possible care problems, and do thay have a lot of carrots and apples in the refrigerator to hide! also had a campfire and roast marshmallows do well this one night of camping, all of us walking 3 miles with sleeping bags and water and anything with the dogs to look confident ranch for us, it was fun! and, of course, are the classic tales of ghosts in the dark! including a involving a ghost who lived above the stairs with a counselor there to smash everything to fear! which has not been talking ranch camp, but was a lot of fun, and I imagine most have similar activities ranch camps! was a wonderful experience I will never forget! I learned a lot and recommend it to anyone who wants to attend one! I hope you have a blast as I did!
