| Nicknamed,
“Freddi” by James Halseth as a teenager, Jessica Dunbar is a
photographer
residing at Malta, MT.
She is a native Montanan and 5th generation agriculturalist.
Freddi tries to capture “real” life on film; she
realizes that, sadly, the cowboy is a rapidly disappearing part of our
heritage. So, she packs her camera on
her horse and tries to catch as much of it as she can. Her dream
is to photograph working people’s
lives, our lives are the only thing that is really, REAL. “What
is now present, will soon be history;
and, I want to have something to show my grand kids. I want them
to see what a true cowboy is, and how the Western
Ranch was run in this time and place.
Much of what once was, has already been lost." --Jessica Dunbar |

location references found in Freddi's work are
real,
although one may have trouble finding them on a standard map. |
